    Hi all,

I'm modeling a B23 in N, and I'd like to put an air conditioner on the roof. I can't find any rooftop shots of these. I have a few questions:

1: What would be the correct style of air conditioner for this unit?

2: How is the flat air conditioner mounted to the round roof? Is a curved spacer placed under it, or is the top of the roof cut flat to accomodate it?

3: On the unit I'm modeling, and others, there is a second box behind the air conditioner. What is it?

    Thanks all :shade:

The roof is flat where the A/C unit is mounted. I think it depends on the prototype for the kind of A/C unit used.
The box behind the air conditioner I think is for radio gear, and the roof is curved under this.

:) So, if I'm understanding you right (and if I'm not, my apologies, my brain quits at 9:00 every night :embarassed: ), there's a sort of notch cut in the roof for the a/c unit, and the other box is curved to fit the roof?

Sounds like it's time to pick up an a/c unit, break out the files, and check the availability of replacement cabs! :D :p
