Is anyone familiar with the B&O operations in Olney, Illinois and vicinity, in the 1950s? Is any of it left there today and, if so, who runs it?
The B&O line from Cincinati to St.Louis through Olney, IL is still in operation by CSX. However, the volume of traffic is reduced from the days of the B&O's operation of this territory. The Wasnington, IN to E.St.Louis segment is known as the Illinois SD. Washington to Cincinnati is the Indiana SD.
