The F7's are super easy. But.....be sure to get the swords to the truck towers correct on re-assembly. And you will get significant improvement in performance with wheel wipers. You can make your own or I have them, I invested in my own design, makes all the difference in the world. Also, you'll need to mill the chassis. Here is a picture of one of the many units I have converted. Note the painted to match chassis as this unit was for a UP livery, complete with matching truck frames. And....custom light-board including Mars light that uses ditch lights function. Tons better than the single CV version.
Nice. Thanks for sharing the pics and the encouragement. I have a handful of wheel wipers that will get me started, but indeed if I need additional sets I may reach out to you and we can do business. In fact I just got my Lokpilot decoders in this afternoon. Waiting for a new soldering iron to arrive and then I will get busy and report back on my progress. Lance
