In the manual it specifies using 12VDC power source for the DS64. I am wondering if it is okay to use the fixed dc output from one of my transformers. It is fixed at 16vdc or do I need to purchase a 12vdc power source to power a DS64. Papa
Thanks for your reply. I looked on the Digitrax site and under their FAQ. They stated the manual says you can use track power from 12-16V. In reply to a question they answered someone else by saying they should be okay using 15V, which would be in line with your 25% over the 12VDC recommended in the manual for aux powering. To be on the safe side I think I will shop for another power source. Thanks, Papa
