....anyone on here model them? Just searching around in Google images and came across some pics of the AC6000's that BHP Billiton runs, pretty cool!! Seen they have some SD40-2's as well, be pretty easy to model that outfit. Some of the other railroads Down Under are really interesting too.
Hi Kurt, Australian Prototype in HO is very popular here the favour of the month so to speak has been for some years now as there are quite a few ocal manufacturers here producing lots of variety of models over a large time period. HO American was very popular here in the 70s to early 90s as was the case with N scale here N American was very popular but now as there are a lot of Australian N scale models available there has been a shift to Aussie. best regards Vic Fitzpatrick vicsmodels
