Hey guys, Kato has put all the pre-2003 F-7 decorated shells up for sale.I would guess that all parts are next.
I'm really curious: How long would be a reasonable period for them to sit on inventory? Should Atlas still inventory parts for the 2-8-8-2?
Thanks for the tip. It's hard to get enough SF B units, so I can use the shell to convert an older F7A.
Oh how I'd love to be able to afford every GN shell they have. But alas, I have a budget and must stick to it. Dangnabit!! Mike Both A's & two B's is better than nothin'.
The shells will also fit on the new F unit frame and mechanism. All you need is the new style glass set that lets the old style shells fit the new DCC ready frame. [ 27. August 2004, 06:05: Message edited by: jrwirt ]

There are "holes" in the inventory, but they do not have a record of blanket abandonment. http://www.atlasrr.com/nparts.htm
Atlas still stocks a few parts for the Roco made E7 & FA1 sold in the mid '70s, and a couple of years ago I got some replacement brushes for their Mikado sold in the late '60s. Cheers, Rod
