The only bad thing with putting passengers in my cars is that I cant stand to see my 'empty' passenger trains run......LOL Oh well....someday they will all be loaded with happy passengers.
Who said they were happy? Grin! Yep, those cars with the figures look pretty darn good. The pastel colored clothing was truly late 50's and 60's. Good to see your TrainMaster making the pull. Just like it used to, with everything matching the prototype. IMSMC...sigh! Darn if it don't look sweet, I said with a big smiley face grin!
What smiles? LOL What I remember is the riders grumbling a lot. No snack car, or when there was one coffee was cold. In the winter time, it wasn't warm enough. Restrooms weren't kept cleaned, men pee'd on the toilet seat, no airconditioning on those long hot summer days, seats weren't repaired and were uncomfortable, to lumpy, train wasn't fast enough, more often late then on time and on and on and on ..... typical San Francisco thinking and complaining. Never could please those folks, said one SP Official. You can tell from the body language that your passengers are enjoying the ride...LOLOLOL. Look at the scenery they get to see! Looking good Jerry, looking good.
A little weathering and this unit will be done. And then live out its life hauling passengers just like its 1:1 sisters.......
A look at Trainmasters at work when they ruled the Bay Area.
Your presentation of the 1X1 foot scale and your model. Exactly what I was hoping to see on your layout. Nicely done! Very nice. Never mind the ribbing...all in fun.
Started weathering the Trainmaster too. Going for a used but taken care of look..... Also added BLMA ACI tags.
Gosh darn balluza, if that ain't the most awe some thing I ever did see. Do I get a cab ride? You are going to wear that TrainMaster out Jerry. Time to add to the fleet.
Yes......mine is the earlier paint job with the green and blue stripes, gyro lights and red nose light. I will probably still get the Kato one too.
Finished drilling all the holes on the Caltrain F40PH and only broke 4 drills.....I'm getting better! LOL Actually, brass is not that soft, and #80 drills are not that hard! Should get some pictures tomorrow.
