That is something I have thought about. I did see a refinery modual at a show one time that had a real flame coming out of a stack. Looked like a bic lighter....LOL
I just got done removing all the tacks from the cork and sanding it all down. Got the flex track layed out, and will work on getting it down later. It got late...and cold...fast tonight!
Summers over in these parts and the ski season is officially open. Brrrrrrrrr. Time to head indoors. So does this mean your work on the layout will freeze up? It's looking good.
Guys, when I lost my job last year, I started out without un-employment ($%&#* right to work state). After a couple months without any income, I applyed for disability through both social services and the VA. I am the only one around that anyone knows that got SSD the first time around without sueing through the courts (course it helped that the VA treated me on three seperate occasions for PTSD). The bottom line here is I traded the wife for a dog, have all the time in the world, an empty 13'x17' room, and still can't put enough time in the layout to show progress. There is always something with a higher priorty (today it is replacing my car's starter motor). I'm seriously thinking of making the layout complete T-Trak, just for forward motion. Enough to say, I'm very impressed and wish I could accomplish 1/2 as much. Wayne
Today I had the honor of meeting and spending time with randgust in Chattanooga. What a great guy! Heres what two Santa Fe modelers look like when they are not working......LOL
Tonight I am adding more to the refinery, more trees, removed some trees, (or rather relocated), and going to try and finish the outside loop with track.
I hope you filed all the proper EPA paper work... correctly. I'd hate to see some EV's come knocking on your back door, panhandling... with their hands out, wanting a litigated contribution. Wish I could of joined you two but that will have to be another time. Looks like loads of fun.
