    My hometown of Slaton, had its 100th birthday party over the 4th of July weekend. A website was put up for the event, with two photo albums, one of Slaton's history, the other is the history of the Santa Fe in this company town.     thanks for sharing these pics. i guess i overlooked this thread. i grew up watching the santa fe in proctor and comanche tx on the dublin subdivision. love your older photo's. i saw one of the last, and very possible, the very last santa fe passenger train roll through my home inbetween comanche and proctor and didn't even know it! wish it back like it was...
