Hy guys Is there any geographical location on the railroad map where ATSF and Kansa City Southern can be seen together or have an interchange ? Could ATSF owned Argentine yard be a possibility ? thanks very much for your reply stefano
The Argentine District was Sante Fe back in the Day. In fact it is still called out as Sante Fe on Google although it is BNSF today. KCS and SF crossed all over town as do NS, UP, BNSF, and KCS today.

Argentine was strictly a Santa Fe yard. All of the other major roads had their own yards in the Kansas City area. The Kansas City Terminal Railroad handled the primary movement of interchange between all of the yards as well as switching all of the passenger trains at Union Station. That being said, it's your layout and you can use modelers license to have other lines bring their trains directly into Argentine if you wish. Duane Goodman
