Exactly, the words were taken from my mouth! The HO people have a lot of neat stuff, I personally would like to see a C40-8 in N Atlas practically has the tooling, they just need to improve their molds. Some AC6000's might be nice as well as some ACe's and other modern locomotives. Don't forget the older stuff like C30-7's U Boats and classic 80's engines (particularly BN stuff). please correct me if any info is wrong.
When I cast my vote I didn't realise this poll was 5 years old, no wonder I was thinking "whats going on here, we've already got half of this stuff"!
Trinty RD-4 hoppers I would like to see Kato make those... enuff with bethgons. My vote is BNSF new Logo Hoppers.... Still waiting on you Mr. Kato!:shade:
I guess the NMRA show is coming up in July - there are usually some announcements there. To rehash things I've heard over the past year or so, Atlas might be doing "big GE's" - which I assume are the C40's "next year". This was back at the Springfield show. Kato supposedly has said that it has measured the SD70**'s and the GEVO's. This was from last July.... We will see!
Since I could only vote for one, I chose late steam. But I wouldn't be adverse to any early Alcos, or 1st Gen EMD. I really would like to see a 4-8-0 that would be close to a N&W M class... Dan
GP40Xs? My choices (actually, not all models I'd personally buy, but anyway...): Any MLW diesels. Baby Trainmasters. AS-616s, all phases. C40-9 standard cab. C44-8W. And that's not even getting into steam and electrics. From anyone as long as they're high quality.
Yep, thanks, those and I want them and the SD45s in undec so i can do them up for the GandG and the Pink Fox Lines. Oh, and I want a pony too.
Baldwin S-12s please Any of these 3 http://wx4.org/to/foam/shortlines/sierra/id1947.jpg And some black widow gp9s
And who wouldnt love to have a really well done 0-4-0 steam switcher with tender like the one I redid from Bman?
I'd like to see some "chop nose" GP9's, SD45's and SD70ACe's. Some SDP40 and 45's wouldn't hurt either.
I have seen trucks in Army/Marines trucks in Iraq with window screens like that, I did not realize Boston was that scary! I will call that engine a GP40XM, but that is not right. I do think they were built my MK though. Kevin
It is scary Keven. Birdges in my very urban area that cross he Notheast corridor have solid you can't squeeze a pebble through bariers. Oh, and you were close. Based on a few googles it is a: GP40MC. Thanks! You are correct in that MK was involved in the rebuilding of these locos: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EMD_GP40-based_passenger_diesels My appolgies for hyjacking the thread. but I want two GP40MC in undecorated along with my pony.
