    I don't have any concrete evidence, but I'll go out on a limb and say that between most locomotives coming with dcc & sound, uber detailing, and big hulking steam locomotives, and the greatly increased cost has put a bit of a damper on the desire to purchase and review locomotives. Add that to the fact he has been doing this a while now. I'll give him a break.

    With how locomotives are built today, just writing the 'how to take the shell off' paragraph probably takes a week on its own, too.

    I'd be concerned about the cracked universal problem with these. Atlas still has no repair parts in Inventory

    Maybe I missed it, but are you stating this new design has a risk of cracked universals? Keep in mind these new SD9's are of a different design than past offerings. These are not the old split frame design.
