just bought 2 atlas non dcc geep 7's and would like to update the lightboards to the brighter ones from atlas. I have done this before, but atlas has changed their website from being easy to find parts for people like me. does anyone know the part number I need. non dcc with the two short boards. thanks....
Atlas only shows one part for the GP9s (split board) for the newer models and one for the older Kato/Atlas japan models. The number for the Japan models is 420009 and 480009 for the newer version. http://www.atlasrr.com/nparts.htm
607-x001 the geep 7 and 9's use the same one on each end, unlike the gp 40's these are the old school yellow looking bulbs. I have bought replacements before for the 7's.
will do. question no. 2.... how hard to install number boards on a kato f3? remove shell or just push them in in front? thanks....
