Why can't we be active in both of these forums? I think this one is excellent as well. I know I will be active in both. For one reason, I would be a little ungratelful and just plain dumb to attack an Atlas product or service on their own website. Not that I joined this one to rack other manufacturers or model railroaders, but each forum has pretty much the its own strengths and characteristics. Ken "Steamguy" Willaman
FYI here is the link ===== http://forum.atlasrr.com/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=2 ===== I regularly contribute to both N Forums (here and Atlas) as well as to the n_scale group at Yahoo ===== http://groups.yahoo.com/group/n_scale ===== All 3 venues are GREAT eNjoy
</font>[/QUOTE]OOps1 Hit the wrong button last time. What i wanted to say was: That never stopped "Rob da Rebel" or some others. Atlas is pretty open about their forum and criticism of Atlas productsis permitted. In fact I think Atlas allows more criticism own products than they do products of other manufacturers.
Somehow along the line I've gotten the impression that the Atlas forum was a free-fire zone- at least it's been that way the last few times I've visited. No, I'm not trying to start any forum wars- that was just my impression. There seemed to be several instigators stirring up the crap, and at least two of them were members here (and one was tossed out on his can at least twice). Well, I can say that after re-visiting the Atlas forum, it seems lively, but not as nasty as before. I wonder if the powers-that-be booted off the troublemakers? Friscobob stands corrected [ 17. By the way, I have no problems whatsoever about folks over at the Atlas forum joining here (well, most of 'em)- I have memberships in several other forums and quite a few Yahoo! groups as well. I'm a moderator here only. It's amazing all the info you find on this and other forums.
