I've decided to go DCC with the Atlas system but I'm concerned about the lack of hand held controller units yet on the market.Has anyone heard when Atlas plans on releasing these units to go with their system or is anyone aware of another manufacturer that produces a compatible hand held controller?
    Gracias,

The Atlas system is basicaly a Lense system. I would think that one of their walkarounds would work, but I'm not sure.....Mike [IMG]

I wish I knew, I'm considering getting the atlas system. I've heard it should come up sometime mid-this year. Go to the website--www.atlasrr.com
    Good Luck!

Yes, Lenz $ Roco throttles will work, considering the Atlas system is a Lenz Compact. Atlas expects to release their version of a Lenz throttle in April at a list price of $120 (US).

Somewhere I read a review of the Atlas system by Stan Ames listing the hand throttles he used in his test. Can't find it now.

CVP Products at www.cvpusa.com now has a radio wirelessthrottle for the Atlas and Lenz systems. I saw it advertised in MR page 110, February 2000 issue.

    Hope this will help you.

The best person to talk to about Lenz is Debby Ames, you can find her at support@lenz.com.

I saw the CVP radio controlled throttle last week end, it's a little pricey, about 150 for the throttle and another 150 or so for the receiver.

Also go to ttx-dcc.com thats Tonys train exchange, he's got good prices on all kinds of dcc stuff.

    Hello:

We have plugged in LENZ LH 200 (The throttle with the large knob) many times to the ATLAS Master System and it works perfectly and easily. The trouble is that the LH 200 will cost you more than the whole ATLAS system but if you need a hand held throttle and don't want to wait then it's the only way to go.
