After myself and other modelers contacted Atlas regarding the problem with the front windows being too small on their pre-production HO scale GE Dash 8-40B models, Atlas took steps to correct this problem before producing the production models. Did you know that the windows on our highly detailed HO DASH 8-40B locomotives have been corrected to achieve the ultimate in prototypical accuracy? As you well know, Atlas is only interested in creating models one way-the Right Way. Thank you. Speaking of the DASH 8, it was a HUGE hit at the Springfield Show this past weekend. I've seen some nasty bashing of Atlas products on their own forum(usually over minor, petty things, like headlight locations and beacons), and it really bugs me, since it's uncalled for, and doesn't do anybody any good. Hats off to Atlas for listening and making a better product. Now I'm REALLY looking forward to getting some of these! Paul #3
