Randy, Pretty much torqueing the truck sideways forcing a wheel set out of the turnout. Modifying the original truck/coupler was real easy and IMO I believe the cars track much better, especially backing up. I have also modified most of my Peco turnout frogs, the old Kadee/MT pizza cutter wheels were great at picking them. I also have a couple hundred Atlas 90T hoppers with Kadee/MT trucks and yes a little extra weight really helps.
