Einstein proved that time moves more slowly when you are waiting for a model you want to be produced in N scale.
I just reread the section of Einsteins book Relativity the chapter on "time and space in classical mechanics". He uses trains in his analogies. It still makes my head hurt
Those "car carriers" was suppose to replace the double door 50' boxcars they used to haul autos in..IIRC the 75' open auto racks replace these boxcars and the short lived 50' auto rack in/around 1960.
