Athearn today announced three new numbers for their GP-35 in SAL colors, ETA is Feb. 2012. This is in addition to the two numbers previously released. Seaboard had 10 of these units and now Athearn has covered half the class. I'm glad that it's that far off what with InterMountain having moved its' FT's back to September and Athearn moving their GP-9s' FORWARD to late October 2011. Combine that with the Fox Valley M-53's, I-M reefers in two different styles for FGEX, ditto Accurail and the last quarter of 2011 looks to be very expensive. Now, if we can just talk Athearn into high-hood GP-35's a la Southern, and heh - a sop for N&W and NdeM wouldn't be that sinful.
