Just did a Sound install into a Genesis F7A unit. Athearn made a place for a speaker at the rear of the loco. The problem is that if you install a round speaker into the place you can not replace the shell back onto the frame. The speaker will prevent you from lowering shell down so you can slide the shell forward to catch the front latch. If someone has installed a sound decoder what did you use for a speaker and how did you install it? Thanks in advance!
