Mike, I have borrowed a couple more track plan books from the club too! I think what I want and what I'm capable of building are 2 different things But I did manage to get that other one up and running - sort of ... wish I had more confidence... and tools! This isnt bad, but its 2000klms away but still only $400 on ebay LOL... [ 14. October 2004, 23:41: Message edited by: virtual-bird ]
If this is your 1st layout, I'd suggest way simpler... but if you got the money and want to get a head start, hey, that would be good. I think you'll get more satisfaction if you make it yourself 100%. And those grades look awful steep!
yea, thats what I mean, its sorta what I want, intersting, with more than roundy roundy, (like the layout in photo below) but not really, and way too complicated for me. way too far to go to pickup and he wont deliver or ship! I did manage to get this to the contoller stage http://members.optusnet.com.au/~biggus2/pics/nscale/may04/helprequired.jpg which is where I was on 9am Saturday, by 10am saturday it was plain board again :'( Thanks again!
