Yes, I've ordered the new Kato version, and the 14 cars. This will be my excuse for an electrified division on my railroad. I've also got the ancient Arnold GG-1, which has never been run much, and won't be run until I turn the flanges down. With a lot of tweaking, it's a decent runner, considering its age. There seems to be plenty of room in the shell for a decoder. Has anyone modified these old beasts? Added more weight, for example? Turned down the flanges? I'm trying to figure out if it's worthwhile to fix up this one. Any experiences?
