Let me start this question with: I just can't seem to walk away from what seems to be the only forum out there with helpful people (A certain magazine's forums will not be named). So yes, the Cascade Green Bombshell is back.

Now onto my question. Has anyone, and I mean anyone here who owns those GP40's had any issue with the smoke fluid leaking in their units? I picked up 3 of my units and under that plastic cover, It felt like it was cracked. I looked and it wasn't. But there was smoke fluid leaking from the bottom of it. Is this a generally known problem? And if so has anyone fixed it?

I have the Rio Grande units. Rarely used the smoke though.
But, I've never noticed excess fluids coming from my units.
Unless fluid reservoir was still full in some way when put away?
Or reservoir over filled without knowing?
Just a couple of random thoughts.

This has me perplexed. It was never stored on it's side but yeah it's filled with smoke fluid. Overfilled? I don't think it is. I followed the instructions my local distributor (who I got them through) told me for using the smoke. Right now I've got my units sitting on a test track just smoking, once the resovoir is depleted I should be able to jimmy the fuel tank cover off and find out what happened. I'll get back to this one as soon as I can.
