Track in question is former MILW transcontinental main line Othello, WA to Royal City Junction, WA, plus the Royal Slope branch line Royal City Junction to Royal City, WA. That branch was never a big source for any revenue, as the shippers never materialized. What there is goes by truck. The only way this will work is if everything goes by rail, and if there is a sudden, large growth of shippers from Royal City. I am familiar with Royal City. My best man when I got married was from that little farming town.
