http://www.some train store.com/product_p/mtl-00130013.htm and http://www.newhallstation.com/store/product_info.php/cPath/26_41/products_id/888 The second is MTL 1129 M-10 The first is KA-11-711 an M-10 where the pocket is maybe Kato specific The only diff I see is 14 bucks each. I don't mind paying, if thats what I need, but, I'd be willing to leave them for someone in greateer need....
Definitely different. The 1129 is a "universal" replacement for truck-mounted couplers, generally on freight cars. The other one is a Kato-specific conversion product.
Can I be mad because you gave me the answer I didn't want?biggrin: Or thank you that I can order tonight?:tb-biggrin: Oops, you're probably right, but doh, I didn't think mtl conversion page listed foriegn roads. 1129 is listed for this one. I looked after I responded and am editing! Thanks though
They are the same... One is packaged for sale in Japan, one is the standard US product. Newhall Station is big on importing products available only overseas then jacking the price up on them.
