Apache canyon NM photos

On the way back from a cross country trip, Dad and I stopped by Canoncito NM on the ex ATSF glorieta pass route. I went there when I was 12 and since then has been my favorite RR spot. I luckily saw both Amtraks. This is #3 screeching down the canyon.

This truss bridge is just up the valley from the canyon.

Have good trip. That area is really great. Just wish there were more trains!

 

Nice, looks like a model railroad! The first pic, the nose of the Amtrak unit matches the sky-blue and grey.
