Was doing a search and one link came up as the The Train Show (on RFD-TV which I know Dish satellite users can get on 9500). On the Screening Room page (link below) there are numerous videos from Digitrax on DCC (what it is, installed decoders, etc.) but obviously for larger scales.
Near the middle of the page starts lots of Z-scale stuff. There's the Tri-State Z scalers, MTL and Rob Albritton's Gotthard modules.

It is my understanding that RFDTV dropped the "Train Show". There are still train show type programs on multiple times each week. I set the recorder and take a look at my convenience and they do have some pretty interesting shows, especially if you want the flavor of some real trains. I haven't seen any Z but there has been a lot of Lionel, American Flyer, HO and more. The other night there was an hour of German steam railways. Log on to RFDTV.COM to get the channel lineup.

I think the Train Show is still available as a webcast but I think you have to subscribe now. I just saw this a week or so ago. i might subscribe next year.

The schedule section does seem to stop at the end of 2005
