I know some of you read the message about the NRHS convention 2005. Did anyone have enough interest to visit the chapter website?
Jim- Yes. Out of curiousity, I visited the web site. However, I'm not a member. And at present, there's not much ability to plan going anywhere. I was a little disappointed at the lack of content showing for this gathering. Certainly, it's too early for an exact itinerary. But there didn't seem to be any hint of the forthcoming activities? Ken, the chapter is negotiating for a lot of events, but does not want to publish anything in the rumor stage. You know how that works, people get upset and cranky. Look at what happened to OC's Trainfest when rumors abounded about 765 and1225 attending. When neither appeared, the fans just bashed OC, undeservedly. I suspect that there will be very interesting events, but have no knowledge at this time what they might be.
Jim- Yes. I understand what you're saying. I was just thinking out loud. That it might be a little hard to raise interest, or get people planning at this stage, when they really don't know what to expect. So perhaps after a couple of months further have passed, you'll start seeing more and more commitments being made. Boxcab E50
