Good evening...does anyone know the status of Rio Grande Hobbies? I few weeks ago when they announced they were closing, I placed an order and 10 days later, it was cancelled. After it was cancelled, most of what I had ordered still showed as available. On March 12th, I placed another order and it still shows as being 'new'. I have tried calling for over 2 weeks and the phone just rings forever. Any help would be appreciated.

So, does that mean that they are not shipping any more orders?

They made a deal with Wig Wag to supply their orders. Check the Wig Wag site for more details.

If they didn't charge you for the order I would consider it off. The products were flying off the shelves so fast during their closeout that often things seemed to be in stock as you would put them in the cart and they'd be gone before you'd get to check-out.

Wig-Wag has taken over any of Rio Grande's pre-orders, as I understand it.

I just received an order on Tuesday that I placed on 28 February (after they reset the website issues). They may still be pushing out the final orders. Looks like parts of the website are also being taken offline now.

I also received an order from them last week. One item was missing from the order, but I was charged for it anyway -- not cool. No response to my inquiries so far. Fortunately, there is not a great deal of money involved.

The important thing to note is that with lowered prices, sales were brisk. VERY brisk.

That, in a nutshell, is everything you need to know about business. :tb-biggrin:

As posted on both sites we agreed to fill reservations.

We have received excellent assistance from the suppliers in transferring the orders placed by RGH to Wig-Wag, LLC so that Wig-Wag LLC has received / will receive the product previously slated for RGH.

We are also filling orders where customers did not receive the product ordered over the prior 1-3 months.
