I'm in need of a Rivarossi pacific shell for a kitbash. I thought the Bmann heavy mountain shell would work for a smokebox front, but it is too large. Does anyone have one they are willing to part with. I just need the front of the boiler.
Which one heavy or light. And,would a casting work for ya? I know I have some lights at home. If a casting would work, I could probably come up w/something for ya. Wolf
I don't know if this helps or not, but Model Power has Pacifics available now. They come with standard tender, Vandy tender, or semi-streamlined. TRAINS - N SCALE - LOCOS
I have one from my P-10 project, but the diameter is too small to fit the Concor S-2 boiler. I think the CC/riv part would work best. Kato does have the Mikado shell available, but not sure if the diameter is correct, anyone have one they could measure for me?
The Mikado smokebox is same size as the Rivarossi heavy Pacific. An advantage with the Mikado is that the smokebox is a separate casting. Ben
