    Topic about says it all. I realize decoderizing them is the _best_ solution, but I'd like to hear if anyone has had problems burning up the motors in them? Got a pair of them, I love these locos... I'd like to run them tomorrow at the train show, but they presently lack decoders.

    Think they'd be alright running for an hour or two without decoders on a DCC layout?

    I'm hoping someone here has run some of these Arnold S2s on address 0 before.

    I wouldn't run them on a DCC layout for that length of time.

    You'll have too much current running through those motors.

    I really don't like to run any DC loco on a DCC system for more than a few minutes.

    I've seen too many motors go up in smoke especially in older analog loco's.

    Stay cool and run steam....:cool::cool:
