I found a little bit. Cincinnati, Richmond and Muncie Railroad Company. 1900-1903. Incorporated in Indiana to construct a railroad from Cottage Grove to Muncie, Indiana (1900). Consolidated with The Chicago and Cincinnati Railroad Company to form The Cincinnati, Richmond and Muncie Railroad Company (1902). Consolidated with The Cincinnati and Indiana Western Railroad Company to form The Chicago, Cincinnati and Louisville Railroad Company (1903).
Jim- Thanks. I just pulled out that train order. Ity's dated 1901. A big one. about 8&1/2 by 10 inches! If ever you come upon a map, I'm curious about the size of this operation. Or what happened to the merged company. Sounds like something that would have been swallowed up by another operation. Boxcab E50
