I go mine today. It's my first MTL F-7 and it's definitely a different beast than their GPx series. it's the heaviest Loco I've dealt with. The B unit (AMTRK 399) is also pretty heavy, but I'm not sure what that brings to the table since it doesn't have a motor or electrical pickups. Seems like dead weight to me. Also, it has a capacitor that needs to be removed before using on a DCC track. Would have been nice to know that in advance.
