Just wondering what the big shop or building is with Houndreds of locomotives is around it up there. I am wondering if it is a scrap yard for old locomotives or if it rebiuld center up there. In case you don't were it is it is off of route 92 and you can see it clearly if your heading east toward the Quad City downs horse track. I think it is if your on john deer road headed east to I 88. Thanks ahead of time for any info.
Jack- Thses are the former Rock Island locomotive shops in Silvis, IL. several years ago I drove over there but not enter the grounds because of the warnings. At that time a rebuilder had their sign up but I dont know if they folded or are still in business.

I was wondering if it was a Rebuilding plant I see well over a houndred locomotives in there from all the class 1 railroads and last time i was up thier there was some loco's in primer out a long side the shops.
