Does anyone have any news on when the Kato AC4400's will ship? The web site says June 04, but they still have the technical drawings on the site, and no photos of the models yet, which tells me that they could be a little ways off yet. . . Dave

We have been told they will not arrive in Schaumberg (burg?) till after 07/04/04. The UP City Series cars are due before then.
If the first batch is due following 07/04 then I would expect the second batch 3-4 weeks later. In any case it will likely be after photos are posted. The City series cars had pictures posted in the last 24-hours. Which raises a question in my mind. Looking at those cars and having seen the Heritage fleet on several occasions it looks to me that something is different between the current paint scheme and the one shown on these cars? George, for one thing, those things look to sit a bit high in the photos, compared to prototype. Of course, compared to the LL C 424, they sit right on the track.....
The latest Kato ad in NSR says "Expected in July" and lists CEFX and UP versions. The BNSF and CP stuff says "Expected in August". The streamliner's are "arriving this month" - which I guess means June.
