Kato "doubled up" the straight UP SD70ace's flag units they are bringing out to augment the heritage units. I am curious if anyone has heard of Kato bringing out BNSF SD70ace's. It would seem like a logical move.

The standard company line is "eventually". The BNSF units are different enough from the UP's to require separate tooling for certain parts of the shell. I'm sure someone will strip and paint a BNSF unit from the UP shells if you're really wanting them now.
Didn't see anything specifically on BNSF aces, but the upcoming N-scale "Narita Express" sure did bring back memories from when I lived in Japan. Jamie
They might not be doing Ace's in BNSF yet, but when they announced the UP and Heritage Ace's they also announced 2 Mac's in BNSF swoosh paint and in the last week announced 2 Mac's in H2 paint.
