Any Feedback on "Buddy L" G scale

    A store is closing out "G" scale Buddy L sets. They are 4 piece starter Santa Fe says the engine is diecast and the MRSP was $499.00 they are selling them @ $125.00 Does anyone have any experience with this Brand, or is it best stayed away from. Thanks, Dave

    I remember buddy L, could be kinda fun. Sounds like a good deal to me but my G is plastic and battery opperated so ahh [​IMG] ... You should ask over on the G scale forum too, might get a specific response.

    Buddy L is a very old company that has the reputation of making high quality toys since the 1920's and I had a big dump truck made by them in 1933 that I could ride on!

    I would say if you can afford it, go for it, Buddy L has always stood behind their products.
