Hey fellas, this is my first post. I just saw Frank's post about finding a job opening on a class III. I've been trying like crazy for almost a year to get a job on a class III and I havn't had any luck. Does anyone know of any railroads ANYWHERE in the U.S. that are hiring? I would prefer the Northeast, but I'm not tied down! Thanks a lot. John
Welcome to TrainBoard! I am not aware of any in my region. Everything here, Class 1,2,3, is cut back. Plenty of already furloughed people who could be called back. Considering current national economics, openings for new hires may be few, and far between. For some time to come. Good luck. Keep trying. Hope you can find something. Boxcab E50

We just hired 8 or so guys in the Quads at DM&E and rumor is we are hiring across the system. Check the website and call Marlene. check also the American Shortline adn regional railroad website. You can go check out its member railroads and if they have a website apply online or call them direct.
