Would it be prototypical to paint the anti-glare area on top of the short hood of a UP SD40-2 grey?I noticed Atlas did it on there SD 60's.If not does anyone have a colour they can recomend?Looks like Kato used some shade of green,but I don't know what shade.This is the last little thing i have to do to call this model finished!
Looking through a few pictures of mine it seems that you can use either a really light grey or the UP harbor mist grey. It would depend on the engine number and date I would assume. Hope this helps you.
Well, I don't know the sheet number but, Micro-scale makes a sheet of antiglare panel decals for UP. It features many panel for several types of locos and has both green and gray.
