I have already considered an additon to my layout! I would like to place a turntable on it. I have DCC and am wondering which is the eaiest. I know I would have to have a reversing module and I don't necessarily need it to be powered I could use a type of crank. I would prefer not to reach into the layout but have the crank on or by the fascia.
I am a novice in the art of modeling (track I can do).
    Walthers, Peco or other?

    Jeff:

Build a CMR 135' Turntable kit. It isn't hard to build as long as you follow directions and don't try to finish it "yesterday".

There is a tutuorial of my CMR 135' turntable on the Trainboard forum.

The Atlas TT is another choice. You don't need a reversing unit as The Turntable automatically reverses the polarity. It has no pit and is only 7 1/4" inches long.

The Peco turntable is smaller than the Atlas turntable.
