Another train wreck.

    If you all remeber the head on wreck in CA. I saw this video at the same saftey meeting, it finally made it out to YouTube. Basicly this train is in dark territory around Etter, Tx. Another crew left a switch open and this is the result.

    Wooooow!!:eek:mg: I saw the aftermath pic's of this-not pretty!! That has got to be the worst feeling in the world, coming up on a mis-aligned switch at speed. Luckily, they were going slower than the posted speed, due to a slow order on the other end of town.

    I wouldn't think this "local" crew that left the switch against the main is no longer employeed by BNSF. :(

    Bet they are at the WalMart or McDonald's looking for work.

    We have been doing "switches used" thing releasing track warrents for this reasion.

    Was this set up as a siding, were they pulled through on the drop?

    Good thing they werent methanol cars..
