Caught this eastbound early Sunday morning...approaching Prison Road, in Jean, Nevada ...at only 100 axles in length...it was barrelling right along at 60mph.
Hot priority? A train at that length is either ultra-hi priority, a special run; like a test run, or losing revenue, which I doubt. I like the grade receding in the distance--neat shot!
I see alot of these particular trains running on this line (the former LA & SL)...I don't know the train symbols though... here is one from a couple of weeks prior...not sure if I have posted this pic before...they run at least one train a day...
