I was a little surprised when I went over to "Make my model" that the golf carts are 'not in stock' and can't be ordered. I figured I could put in one of those greenskeeper carts as a substitute for what I really wanted - Cushmans. They were pretty much the standard beast of burden on the ATSF and were used by both freight car workers (for car inspection) and as tractors for baggage wagons. I can't tell you how many times I've spotted them in photos. The HO guys, as usual, have it easy: http://web4.hobbylinc.com/gr/jli/jli925.jpg So...anybody? Great platform detail item. I can use about 3.
When I put in an inquiry if they were going to be made again.... here's the autoreply email I got: Hello, Thank you for your email. We have stopped production and are do not have any current plans to resume. We will let you know if we do resume in the future. Best Regards, Brad Visser
Do you maybe have some pictures or even better, blueprints of this Cushman cart? Also, if you have some measurements this would help a lot I'll be happy to check and see if I can make this for you using Shapeways. Although my current work at Shapeways only includes dutch trains, i'll be happy to give it a try you can find my work by going to www (dot) spoorobjecten (dot) nl <- link to my webshop at shapeways Kind regards, Mitchell Jetten
