As you may have heard, Atlas has announced the release of its new GP38 in HO scale. It
doesn't sound anywhere close to the Atlas/Roco offering, as the details are better. Also, it has a paper air filter, as well as extra add-on details. Plus, an all-
new drive. Still gotta put in the Pyle nose
    Gyralite...
It doesn't come in Frisco colors, but with
the addition of extra Frisco details, you should have a great locomotive.
    Highball, y'all!

Bob, it sure would be great if we could get some locomotives decorated for FRISCO. I couldn't believe that Proto 2000 brought out the non dynamic GP7 without doing it in FRISCO. FRISCO was one of the largest purchasers of this unit. I had been hoping they'd bring out another run of them and do SLSF. I'd hoped we get a GP40 or GP38 in SLSF and MKT, but no luck yet. What really burns me is that every locomotive that comes out gets decorated for Pennsy, Reading, or Rutland but we FRISCO guys always are left out in the cold. I noted that the new GP38's that Atlas announced will decorted in New England Central. Come on, how many NEC modelers can there be? I know if they'd produce units in SLSF and MKT colors there would be a good market for them. Oh well, we can always hope. That's my 2 cents worth. I'm done with the soapbox now.

To add to this list, Stewart is releasing the VO1000 in HO sacle, and Frisco is one of the roads mentioned for release. It'll be in the black & yellow, so if you want the Zephyr blue & white with red "Frisco Lines"
    lettering, you're on your own.
Saw my first P2K FAs in Frisco colors, and I'm impressed! It's slowly getting better, folks...
