I think that when running British models, I should make suitable buildings to replace the more obvious US ones. They could be made to the same footprint so would fit well. This would give me two layouts in one
That seems to be a common disease with most of us! I have about twice as many cars as I do lokies. Considering I only have about 100+ cars I'd say the disease has run deep! Cool looking engine. I particularly like the livery.
This particular locomotive was standing right next to me for about two hours last time I went railfanning to Barnetby. So it is good to have the same one.
Im getting worried here Alan, I know its an EMD product but bar the BL2 its gotta be the ugliest thing theyve built! Still when they are eventually retired im sure john west will have a lot of tin for their tuna cans!
I don't care much for the BL2 but I do like the looks of this one. Very different from North American power but I like her "lines".
