I posted recently about a NorthWestern Pacific caboose to be done by MTL. We got pretty good response here. I've also sent MTL info for doing a Sud Pacifico de Mexico (SPdeM), a Southern Pacific south of the border subsidiary. ow many of you would be interested in a caboose for this road? (sorry I don't have a pic) reference photo I found was in a book called Southern Pacific of Mexico.
I guess all those Corona Beer comercials have gotten to me!!! I've been really into doing some south of the border railroading lately.
If you can get someone to do SDIV back when it was in one piece, I'm in !!! THAT would be a cool road to model !!! I would want mine a bit sturdier, though !!!
Wouldn't that precede the SD&IV? I thought they began operations after the trestle and tunnel issues?
Boxcab, listen to what I mean, not what I say !!! Ha,ha,ha !!! Didn't check my book before posting. I THINK they did try to rebuild, but got hit again with something else. I'll check it out and send PM. Don't wanna' derail this thread. It's a good idea, ya' know ???
