Hi folks... I just painted another loco. Atlas SD35 painted for CP Rail (never had any) but as you can see CP leased this loco from D.Lissa which is a good friend of mine (and a member of this forum as well). Therefore the paint scheme is not absolutely prototype-like. Also the numberboards are missing (yet). This was a present for him and he really liked it. [ 24. Imagine this: You come to work and find a beautiful CP on your computer keyboard. You wonder and start looking exactly. Then you find your own name painted on it. And - it's not a joke, it's a present !!! This is the best way to make an 'old' man cry. Sandro did a great job. He is an excellent artist who created not only a fantastic layout. His self-painted locos are also superb. My new diesel looks impressive on my layout and I really love it. Happy building Daniel
That sure looks like an excellent locomotive, can you take some pics of it on your layout and post it here?
Hi Colonel I will post some pictures - as soon as I find a digital camera. I hope that my neighbor has one ... Happy building Daniel
It looks great! I always was fond of the pacman scheme, an painted a few SD40-2's in '94 in that scheme.
