Garth, Lajos gave me two controller to test. One has a wallwart, and the othe has battery. The battery powered can only run one engine at a time. I think this controllers are great for suitcase or small layouts.

Sorry, I misunderstood: initially I thought that controller worked with a wireless system, such as radio-controlled model airplanes, with a battery for wireless control. My mistake. Indeed what I'd look for would be a remote control, setting voltage coming from a main power source into the track to control train movement. Dom
