Firstly I'd like to thank all those who entered their website to this contest. The quality of all the sites was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed browsing them all. It is a credit to all of you to take the time building sites and keep them updated for all to enjoy.
After much deliberation I am pleased to announce the following awards to these members.

1.Best Prototype Website goes to Kevin Stevens for his Kern Junction website

Kevins site is well structured with excellent quality photographs. Kevins site is updated regularly and has become a favorite site for many rail enthusiasts.

    2. Best Modelling Website goes to Jean-Louis Simonet for his traiN'ternet

Jeans N scale site is a benchmark for both website design and N scale modelling. Jeans photography skills are renowned around the modelling fraternity as are his modelling skills.

We would also like to make special mention to Paul Templar's Badger Creek Lumber Company website. Paul's site is also an excellent example of a well structured website, great photography and a great overall modelling site. Paul has many hints and tips on his site and he has inspired many modellers around the world.

I'd like to offer my congratulations to Kevin, Jean and Paul for such outstanding websites.

On behalf of Trainboard I'd like to thank all member contributions to this contest.

Tough decision to make I am sure Paul. You have done a great job organizing this contest.
My favourite is Jean-Louis Simonets web site and I am pleased to see it being recognized.
Paul Templar has done an amazing job on his site too and has helped many of us with our own layouts.
I was not very familiar with Kevin Stevens site but will be sure to have a good look at it now.
Thanks Paul for a job well done.

I totally agree with the sites chosen. All three (and some others) are superb [IMG] (Which is why I did not enter any of mine) :D

I particularly like Kevin's site, which I have had bookmarked for quite some time, as it is always kept alive by regular updates. But then, he is lucky enough to live near my favourite place - Tehachapi.

Also good to see a Brit in there! Well done Paul [IMG] and a well deserved winner from France, Jean-Louis, a good result for Europe [IMG]
