I owe all of you an apology. The layout is not dead. My previous posting was all part of an elaborate April 1st hoax to be played on a friend of mine (and layout consultant). It amazed me that it took three weeks for him to surf the internets and begin to question that the layout was no more. But serendipity can occur sometimes, which made the hoax last that long. Kudos to those of you that realized it was all false. The secret was revealed yesterday as he arrived to help me tear down the last of the benchwork. One friend even suggested that I ask him to move his car to a different part of the driveway as he arrived, as the dumpster was going to be placed where he parked. In reality, the whole purpose of his visit was just to have "the train guys" over, eat food, and just run some trains a while. It was a great gathering.

Just to prove it, here are some photos from yesterday's meet:

Or, this could be a hoax itself, using older photos......

Could be, but isn't. Those are his locomotives.

Well all know that a bandit in that condition would not be next to a candy apple unit, so it must be hoax.

I remember that bridge from my youth, saw many trains on that bridge.

    Adios, Wyatt
